Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders (Coon Rapids, IA), 76-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Exira-EHK upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Treynor (Treynor, IA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Treynor lost 49-48 in their recent league bout against IKM/Manning (Manning, IA)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Coon Rapids-Bayard will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
