Don Pedro Panthers (La Grange, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tioga Timberwolves (Groveland, CA), 2-0 in a league bout.

With the victory, Don Pedro upgrades its record to 1-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Ben Holt College Prep Academy (Stockton, CA) to play the Bobcats in a Mountain Valley League bout on Thursday, December 15. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Ben Holt College Prep Academy won 78-58 in their recent league bout against Stockton Christian (Stockton, CA)

Next up, the Timberwolves play the Delta Charter Dragons (Tracy, CA) in a Mountain Valley League bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Tioga will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
