The East Ridge Pioneers (Chattanooga, TN) basketball nipped the host Hixson Wildcats (Hixson, TN), 46-43 in Tuesday's league test.

The Pioneers (4-4) will now prepare for their test against East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN). The Hurricanes go into the 3A District 6 test with a 7-2 record.

The Wildcats now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Chattanooga Central for a 3A District 6 test on Friday, January 6.
