The Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men Knights basketball team (Houston, TX), was nudged 43-37 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Furr Brahmans (Houston, TX)

The Brahmans now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Falls for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 15. Furr will confront a Knights team coming off a 67-57 non-league win over Dobie (Houston, TX). The Knights record now stands at 9-3.

The Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Chavez (Houston, TX). The Lobos come into the non-league battle with a 4-12 record. In their last battle, Chavez edged Galena Park (Galena Park, TX), 46-42, in a non-league battle.
