Gardner Wildcats (Gardner, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Quabbin Regional Panthers (Barre, MA), 55-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Gardner upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Tahanto Regional (Boylston, MA) to clash with the Stags in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Stags go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Tahanto Regional won 64-31 in their recent non-league bout against South Lancaster Academy (South Lancaster, MA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Maynard Tigers (Maynard, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Quabbin Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
