The Sanford Spartans basketball team (Sanford, ME), was overwhelmed 73-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME)
The Rams now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Massabesic for a AA South battle on Friday, December 16. Gorham will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 74-55 league loss to Noble (Berwick, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Red Riots come into the AA South battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, South Portland trounced Windham (Windham, ME), 66-46, in a non-league battle.
