Maryland High School Basketball - High Point topped by Laurel

The High Point Eagles basketball team (Beltsville, MD), dropped 65-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD)

The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wise for a Prince George's County 4A battle on Friday, December 16. Laurel will battle a Pumas team coming off a 79-44 league win over Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Pumas record now stands at 2-0.

The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against DuVal (Lanham, MD). The Tigers come into the Prince George's County 4A battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, DuVal prevailed over Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD), 79-41, in a league battle.
