Highland Park Scots (St. Paul, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Two Rivers Warriors (Mendota Heights, MN), 78-71 in a league bout.

With the win, Highland Park upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Scots travel to South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN) to play the Packers in a AAA Section 3 bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Packers go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Warriors play the Como Park Cougars (St. Paul, MN) in a AAA Section 3 bout, on Thursday, December 15. Two Rivers will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 67-65 non-league win over Roosevelt/Heritage Academy (Minneapolis, MN).
