North Carolina High School Basketball - Hoke County trounced by Scotland

December 13, 2022: Laurinburg, NC 28352

The Scotland Fighting Scots routed the visiting Hoke County Bucks basketball team by a final score of 78-49 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Fighting Scots face the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 24 game, on Friday, December 16. Scotland will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 6-3 record after their 52-38 non-league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).

With the defeat, Hoke County moves to 1-6 on the year. The Bucks host Lee County (Sanford, NC) to face the Yellow Jackets in a 3A/4A Conference 24 game on Friday, December 16. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a record of 4-2. Lee County lost 67-43 in their recent non-league game against Apex Friendship (Apex, NC)
