North Carolina High School Basketball - Iron Academy fells Wake Prep Academy

December 13, 2022: Raleigh, NC 27612

Iron Academy Swordsmen (Raleigh, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wake Prep Academy Guardians (Wake Forest, NC), 45-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Iron Academy upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Swordsmen travel to Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC) to clash with the Generals in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 10-2.

Next up, the Guardians clash with the Howard Eagles (Wilson, NC) in a CAASC Triangle bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Wake Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 69-32 league loss to Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC).
