The Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Winfield Pirates (Winfield, AL), 69-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Hayden (Hayden, AL). The Wildcats go into the 5A Area 10 test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Hayden walloped Susan Moore (Blountsville, AL), 63-55, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Oakman for a 3A Area 10 test on Thursday, December 15. Winfield will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-45 non-league loss to Meek (Arley, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.
