North Dorchester Eagles (Hurlock, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD), 73-66 in a league bout.

With the win, North Dorchester upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Eagles host Cambridge-South Dorchester (Cambridge, MD) to play the Vikings in a Bayside - North bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Cambridge-South Dorchester won 57-56 in their recent league bout against Pocomoke (Pocomoke, MD)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Pocomoke Warriors (Pocomoke, MD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Kent Island will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
