Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sycamore Aviators (Cincinnati, OH), 48-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Lakota West upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Firebirds host Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH) to clash with the Thunderhawks in a Greater Miami bout on Friday, December 16. The Thunderhawks go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Lakota East lost 69-61 in their recent league bout against Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH)

Next up, the Aviators clash with the Colerain Cardinals (Cincinnati, OH) in a Greater Miami bout, on Friday, December 16. Sycamore will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 59-24 league loss to Princeton (Cincinnati, OH).
