Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Langley Saxons (McLean, VA), 70-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Wakefield upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to South Lakes (Reston, VA) to clash with the Seahawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 3-2. South Lakes won 79-61 in their recent non-league bout against Herndon (Herndon, VA)

Next up, the Saxons clash with the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) in a District 2 bout, on Friday, December 16. Langley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 52-33 non-league loss to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA).
