Pawnee City Indians (Pawnee City, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lourdes Central Catholic Knights (Nebraska City, NE), 57-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Pawnee City upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Sterling (Sterling, NE) to clash with the Jets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Jets go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Sterling won 56-52 in their recent non-league bout against Meridian (Daykin, NE)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Archbishop Bergan Knights (Fremont, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Lourdes Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 56-49 non-league win over Aquinas (David City, NE).
