Redford Union Panthers (Redford, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Melvindale Cardinals (Melvindale, MI), 44-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Redford Union upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Panthers host Annapolis (Dearborn Heights, MI) to play the Cougars in a Western Wayne bout on Friday, December 16. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Annapolis lost 87-64 in their recent league bout against Romulus (Romulus, MI)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI) in a Western Wayne bout, on Friday, December 16. Melvindale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
