Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Seymour Warriors (Seymour, IA), 55-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mormon Trail upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Central Decatur (Leon, IA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Central Decatur won 71-49 in their recent league bout against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Melcher-Dallas Saints (Melcher, IA) in a Bluegrass bout, on Thursday, December 15. Seymour will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Saints enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 80-14 non-league win over Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA).
