Delaware High School Basketball - Smyrna knocked off by Polytech

The Polytech Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Smyrna Eagles to 55 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sussex Tech for a Henlopen - Northern contest on Thursday, December 15. Polytech will meet a Ravens team coming off a 73-46 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, DE). The Ravens record now stands at 1-1.

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE). The Golden Knights enter the Henlopen - Northern contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Sussex Central was defeated by Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE), 75-46, in a league contest.
