Mississippi High School Basketball - Sacred Heart edges Sylva Bay Academy

The Sacred Heart Crusaders (Hattiesburg, MS) basketball nipped the host Sylva Bay Academy Saints (Bay Springs, MS), 30-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Crusaders (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Lumberton (Lumberton, MS). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Lumberton was tipped by Purvis (Purvis, MS), 56-29, in a non-league test.

The Saints now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne Academy for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Sylva Bay Academy will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 54-28 non-league win over Sylva Bay Academy (Bay Springs, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-0.
