Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sioux City North Stars (Sioux City, IA), 84-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sioux City East upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Black Raiders host Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA) to play the Warriors in a Missouri River bout on Thursday, December 15. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Sergeant Bluff-Luton lost 56-37 in their recent league bout against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA)

Next up, the Stars play the Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA) in a Missouri River bout, on Friday, December 16. Sioux City North will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 83-47 league win over Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA).
