In Tuesday's league outing, the St. Joseph Catholic Bruins (Madison, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host St. Aloysius Flashes (Vicksburg, MS), by a margin of 55-21.
The Bruins (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Copiah Academy (Gallman, MS). The Colonels go into the MAIS 5A District 3 outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Copiah Academy was trounced by Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS), 80-63, in a non-league outing.
The Flashes now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph Catholic for a MAIS 5A District 3 bout on Friday, January 13.
