Waterford Wolverines (Waterford, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Union Grove Broncos (Union Grove, WI), 71-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Waterford upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI) to play the Elks in a Southern Lakes bout on Friday, December 16. The Elks come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Elkhorn lost 76-32 in their recent league bout against Westosha Central (Salem, WI)

Next up, the Broncos play the Badger Badgers (Lake Geneva, WI) in a Southern Lakes bout, on Friday, December 16. Union Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Badgers come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 70-43 league win over Delavan-Darien (Delavan, WI).
