Upper Lake Cougars (Upper Lake, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Victory Christian Academy Eagles (Santa Rosa, CA), 55-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Upper Lake upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Swett (Crockett, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Swett won 57-41 in their recent league bout against Kennedy (Richmond, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans (Healdsburg, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Victory Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 57-54 non-league win over Summerfield Waldorf (Santa Rosa, CA).
