The Sipsey Valley Bears basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host American Christian Academy Patriots to 45 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Demopolis for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5.

The Patriots (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Saints go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Holy Spirit Catholic was edged by Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL), 57-21, in a non-league bout.
