The Red Wing Wingers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Austin Packers to 42 in the Wingers league victory on Tuesday.
The Wingers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northfield for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Red Wing will battle a Raiders team coming off a 56-40 non-league loss to Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.
The Packers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Huskies come into the AAAA Section 1 contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Owatonna was defeated by Farmington (Farmington, MN), 52-39, in a non-league contest.
