The Lake Arthur Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Basile Bearcats to 11 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crowley for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Lake Arthur will meet a Gent team coming off a 60-20 non-league loss to Midland (Midland, LA). The Gent record now stands at 2-7.
The Bearcats (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hornbeck (Hornbeck, LA). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Hornbeck triumphed over River Oaks (Monroe, LA), 45-13, in a non-league contest.
