Kansas High School Basketball - Republic County can't hold off Beloit

The Beloit Trojans basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Republic County Buffaloes to 34 in the Trojans league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellsworth for a North Central AA contest on Friday, December 16. Beloit will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 45-43 non-league win over Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-2.
The Buffaloes (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS). The Lions come into the North Central AA contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Minneapolis was nudged by Ellsworth (Ellsworth, KS), 45-43, in a non-league contest.
