Tennessee High School Basketball - Scott nips Campbell County

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Scott Highlanders (Huntsville, TN) and the host Campbell County Cougars (Jacksboro, TN), saw Scott's basketball squad hold off Campbell County by a count of 37-34.

With the victory, Scott upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Clinton (Clinton, TN) to play the Dragons in a 3A District 4 challenge on Friday, December 16. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 4-2.

Next up, the Cougars play the Hardin Valley Academy Hawks (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Campbell County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
