The Cave Spring Knights basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers to 61 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blacksburg for a River Ridge contest on Friday, December 16. Cave Spring will battle a Bruins team coming off a 56-23 league win over Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 3-3.

The Cavaliers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Jefferson Forest was nudged by Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA), 51-41, in a league contest.
