Liberty Hill Panthers (Liberty Hill, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX), 45-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Liberty Hill upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Rouse (Leander, TX) to play the Raiders in a 5A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, December 16. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-11.

Next up, the Timberwolves play the Lehman Lobos (Kyle, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, December 16. Cedar Park will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 62-23 league loss to Glenn (Leander, TX).
