The Cheney Cardinals basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Trinity Academy Knights to 5 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Remington for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Cheney will meet a Broncos team coming off a 37-35 non-league loss to Halstead (Halstead, KS). The Broncos record now stands at 5-1.

The Knights (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Ell-Saline was routed by Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS), 50-49, in a non-league contest.
