The Onalaska Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans to 50 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shepherd for a 3A Region III District 23 contest on Friday, December 16. Onalaska will battle a Pirates team coming off a 36-25 non-league win over Groveton (Groveton, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 7-2.

The Trojans (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tarkington (Cleveland, TX). The Longhorns come into the 3A Region III District 23 contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Tarkington was nudged by Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX), 57-42, in a league contest.
