Cossatot River Eagles (Cove, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Paris Eagles (Paris, AR), 51-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cossatot River upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Charleston (Charleston, AR) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region 4 bout on Saturday, December 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Charleston won 48-46 in their recent non-league bout against Lavaca (Lavaca, AR)

Next up, the Eagles play the Two Rivers Gators (Ola, AR) in a 3A Region 4 bout, on Friday, December 16. Paris will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Gators come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 48-26 non-league loss to Western Yell County (Havana, AR).
