North Carolina High School Basketball - Hertford County holds off Currituck County

December 13, 2022: Barco, NC 27917

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) and the host Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), saw Hertford County's basketball squad hold off Currituck County by a tally of 49-43.

With the victory, Hertford County improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to confront the Panthers in a 2A/3A Conference 15 challenge on Friday, December 16. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Pasquotank County lost 41-17 in their recent league challenge against Camden County (Camden, NC)

Next up, the Knights confront the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a 2A/3A Conference 15 challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Currituck County will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 41-17 league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC).
