The Doniphan West Mustangs basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Troy Trojans to 28 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Heights for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Doniphan West will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 40-36 non-league loss to Frankfort (Frankfort, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.

The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson County North (Winchester, KS). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Jefferson County North was routed by Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy (Atchison, KS), 42-28, in a non-league contest.
