The Jefferson Dragons basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Flowery Branch Falcons to 48 in the Dragons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dragons now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winder-Barrow for a AAAAA Region 8 contest on Friday, December 16. Jefferson will meet a Bulldoggs team coming off a 55-52 league loss to Clarke Central (Athens, GA). The Bulldoggs record now stands at 1-10.

The Falcons (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Commerce (Commerce, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record.
