Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Garner Trojans (Garner, NC), 64-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Willow Spring upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Storm travel to Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Middle Creek lost 38-34 in their recent league bout against Green Level (Cary, NC)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a 4A Conference 26 bout, on Friday, December 16. Garner will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 41-28 non-league loss to Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC).
