Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) and the host Harleton Wildcats (Harleton, TX), saw Union Grove's basketball squad wallop Harleton by a tally of 60-29.

With the victory, Union Grove improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 2A Region III District 21 contest on Friday, December 16. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 5-10. Linden-Kildare lost 50-42 in their recent league contest against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX)

The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Texas Homeschool Sports (Longview, TX). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record.
