Southside Panthers (Selma, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hatch Bobcats (Uniontown, AL), 55-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southside upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Panthers host Dallas County (Plantersville, AL) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the University Charter Trail Blazers (Livingston, AL) in a 1A Area 6 bout, on Friday, December 16. Hatch will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Trail Blazers go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 56-29 non-league win over Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL).
