In Tuesday's league outing, the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Orono Riots (Orono, ME), by a margin of 71-28.

The Hawks (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Coyotes go into the B North outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Old Town smashed Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME), 53-42, in a league outing.

The Riots now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Foxcroft Academy for a B North outing on Wednesday, December 21. Orono will encounter a Ponies squad coming off a 57-54 non-league loss to Central (East Corinth, ME). The Ponies record now stands at 0-3.
