North Carolina High School Basketball - Highland Tech ripped by Polk County

December 13, 2022: Gastonia, NC 28052

The Polk County Wolverines basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Highland Tech Rams to 42 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Landrum for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Polk County will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (Greer, SC). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-3.

The Rams (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Bulldogs enter the 1A/2A Conference 40 contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Burns was routed by Crest (Shelby, NC), 48-22, in a non-league contest.
