The Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), 28-25 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Captains go into the Lakes Valley test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Kettering was tipped by South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI), 55-24, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host South Lyon East for a Lakes Valley test on Friday, December 16. Walled Lake Northern will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 55-24 league win over Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
