The Little River Academy Bumblebees basketball team scored 69 points and held the host McGregor Bulldogs to 18 in the Bumblebees league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bumblebees now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockdale for a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, December 16. Little River Academy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 66-41 league win over C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-8.

The Bulldogs (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington (Lexington, TX). The Eagles enter the 3A Region III District 19 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Lexington was routed by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 67-12, in a league contest.
