The Menominee Indian Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Manawa Wolves to 53 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wittenberg-Birnamwood for a Central Wisconsin - East contest on Friday, December 16. Menominee Indian will battle a Chargers team coming off a 54-50 league loss to Iola-Scandinavia (Iola, WI). The Chargers record now stands at 7-1.
The Wolves (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shiocton (Shiocton, WI). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Shiocton ran past Weyauwega-Fremont (Weyauwega, WI), 52-33, in a league contest.
