The Negaunee Miners basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Marquette Redmen to 28 in the Miners non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Miners now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hancock for a Western Peninsula contest on Friday, December 16. Negaunee will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-39 league win over Calumet (Calumet, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.
The Redmen (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gladstone (Gladstone, MI). The Braves come into the Great Northern U.P. contest with a 0-4 record.
