South Carolina High School Basketball - May River holds off Ridgeland/Hardeeville

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) and the host Ridgeland/Hardeeville Jaguars (Ridgeland, SC), saw May River's basketball squad hold off Ridgeland/Hardeeville by a tally of 24-20.

With the victory, May River improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Sharks host St. Andrew's (Savannah, GA) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. St. Andrew's won 50-27 in their recent non-league challenge against The Habersham School (Savannah, GA)

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Bluffton Bobcats (Bluffton, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Ridgeland/Hardeeville will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 48-30 non-league loss to Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC).
