The Rowan County Vikings basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Menifee County Wildcats to 39 in the Vikings league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blazer for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Rowan County will battle a Tomcats team coming off a 60-43 non-league win over Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Tomcats record now stands at 5-1.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bath County (Owingsville, KY). The Wildcats come into the District 61 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Bath County was defeated by Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 66-53, in a league contest.
