With the victory, Ontonagon improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Ewen-Trout Creek (Ewen, MI) to confront the Panthers in a Copper Mountain challenge on Friday, December 16. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Ewen-Trout Creek won 60-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI)

Next up, the Nimrods confront the Wakefield Cardinals (Wakefield, MI) in a Copper Mountain challenge, on Monday, December 19. Watersmeet will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 40-33 non-league loss to Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI).
