Texas High School Basketball - Seguin tipped by Pieper

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Pieper Warriors basketball team scored a tight 37-34 triumph over the Seguin Matadors.

In their next game, the Warriors meet the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 match, on Friday, December 16. Pieper will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the match with a 11-4 record after their 57-48 league win over Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX).

With the defeat, Seguin moves to 5-13 on the year. The Matadors travel to Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX) to meet the Rangers in a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, December 16. The Rangers enter the match with a record of 8-11. Smithson Valley lost 50-41 in their recent league match against Tivy (Kerrville, TX)
