North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwestern Randolph trounces Providence Grove

December 13, 2022: Asheboro, NC 27205

The Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), 60-33 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their test against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, East Davidson was trounced by Lexington (Lexington, NC), 56-33, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ledford for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Providence Grove will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 60-42 non-league win over East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 7-1.
